Working Slow & Trade-Marks
It seems strange to me now to spend little bits of time over a period of days or weeks on a design. I have to admit that a lot gets done when working for hours straight on things that need doing. This, however, is an entirely different process, which always results in an moment of sudden understanding—It should look like this! Oh yes.—with minimal head-desk interface along the way. It's slow, but if ever there was a job deserving of this approach, it's my own logo. As of tonight, the Rockets of Ruby logo is almost there. It needs a couple more hours (over a few days, at least), but I know I'll be happy with it when it's done.
I have been doing a little reading on trade-marks, specifically registered vs. unregistered trade-marks in Canada. I doubt I will have any problems with an unregistered trade-mark. Of course the security of registration would be nice, but I'm not quite ready to shell out a few hundred bucks to the government for it.
