vortex, is here and I wanted to be here too. And because I need someplace to document my new, barely-even-started business, Rockets of Ruby. Please note that this is not a blog, because the word "blog" makes me feel ill.
And now for the journalling...
Last night I purchased a typeface for the first time. I spent $200 (hard earned at my day job) on PMN Caecilia because it's beautiful. I was looking for a font for my new Rockets of Ruby wordmark and visual identity, probably slab-serif, with the tail of the "R" just so, when I found it thanks to Robert Bringhurst's The Elements of Typographic Style. Once I found Caecilia I just couldn't un-find it.
